Background information
This is my first year of teaching and I am honored to spend this year in the Louisville family. I am teaching Geometry, Algebra II, and Algebra III at the high school level. Teaching is one of my great passions in life and math is yet another of those passions. Along with teaching, I am also am assistant cross country coach. Sports have always been a big part of my life as I competed in varsity cross country, basketball, and track all four years I attended Papillion LaVista High School. Once I reached college, I continued running as I competed in 2 half marathons and 2 full marathons throughout my four years at Hastings College. I still run today and hope to run 50 marathons in the 50 states, and add to that a marathon on each continent.
Going along with those goals of running, I love to travel the world. During the summer of 2014, I was able to spend two months in Italy, Bosnia, and Germany hosting sports camps for children in those countries. Experiencing those different cultures and countries lead me to seek the opportunity to student teach in Australia. I have met so many incredible people through each experience and am excited to begin this next adventure with Louisville Public Schools.

Student TeachingMy student teaching experience consisted of a couple different placements, first beginning at Adams Central High School. In February 2016 I then traveled to Australia where I finished out my student teaching at Radford College in Canberra, Australia. In both placements I worked in 9th-12th grade mathematics classrooms.

FamilyI love getting to spend time with my family. My mom and dad always love to have fun. They constantly encourage my brother and I to follow our dreams. My brother is two years younger than I am. He is engaged and I will soon get to add a amazing sister-in-law to my family in July 2017.
